Definition

いじくりとは、専門家ではなくても、遊び半分や試しながら何かを少しずつ修理したり調整したりすることです。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主にカジュアルな場面で使われ、『tinkering with electronics』や『after some tinkering』のように機械やシステムを遊び感覚で触ることを意味します。専門的な修理には使いません。
