Hizo algo más apretado o seguro tirando o girando, generalmente para evitar que esté flojo.

Pasado de 'tighten'. Se usa mucho para objetos físicos ('tightened the lid'), pero también en sentido figurado (reglas más estrictas). No confundir con 'tied' (atado).
