本や雑誌などのページを素早くめくって、内容をざっと見ること。細かく読むわけではない。

主に本や雑誌、メニューなど紙の媒体に使い、簡単に内容を把握するときに使う表現です。デジタルコンテンツには使わず、詳しく読む意味はありません。'flip through'と同じように使われます。
