Definition

'Thrusts' মানে কিছু জোরে ও হঠাৎ ঠেলে দেওয়া বা গোঁজার কাজ বোঝায়, যেমন কোনো বস্তু বা হাত দিয়ে। অস্ত্র বা জোরালো চেষ্টার মাধ্যমে করা ধাক্কাও বুঝাতে পারে।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

শারীরিকভাবে কিছু ঠেলে দেওয়া বা অস্ত্র দিয়ে গোঁজা বোঝাতে ব্যবহার হয়। আবার কারো প্রচেষ্টা বা আইডিয়া জোর করে প্রকাশ করতে ও বলা হয়। 'he thrusts the door open' অর্থ দরজাটিকে জোরে খুলে দেওয়া।
