Nhiệt kế là thiết bị dùng để đo nhiệt độ, cho biết vật đó nóng hay lạnh như thế nào.

Nhiệt kế thường dùng trong y tế, nấu ăn, và khoa học; 'take your temperature' nghĩa là đo nhiệt độ của bạn. Đừng nhầm với 'barometer' (dụng cụ đo áp suất khí quyển).
