이 표현은 무언가 잘못되면 심각한 문제나 혼이 날 것임을 뜻한다.

비공식적이고 경고성 강한 표현이다. 놀람, 위협, 혼낼 때 많이 쓴다. 실제 '지옥'과 관련 없다.
