Expressão informal usada para apresentar o ponto principal, razão ou problema numa conversa, geralmente para destacar o que realmente importa ou dificulta a situação.

Muito informal, usada sobretudo em conversas para destacar o verdadeiro ponto ou dificuldade. Usada no início: 'the thing of it is...'. É semelhante a 'o ponto é', mas mais coloquial.
