Definition
Muy asustado o con muchísimo miedo. Describe una sensación de miedo muy intensa, a menudo causada por peligro, sorpresa o algo que parece amenazante.
Usage Notes (Spanish)
Es más fuerte que 'afraid' o 'scared'. Se usa mucho en 'terrified of' + sustantivo/gerundio y 'terrified that' + oración. En inglés cotidiano también puede usarse de forma menos literal para una ansiedad muy fuerte, no solo ante peligro real.
