ある集団や宗教、組織が真実で重要だと考える主要な信条や信念のこと。

主にフォーマルや学術的な文脈で使われ、『the tenets of～』のように使われる。中心的な信念や原則を指し、細かいルールではない。多くは複数形。

The main tenets of their religion are peace and kindness.
