やかんは、水を沸かすための注ぎ口とふたが付いた容器で、主にお茶などのために使います。

やかんは主にコンロなど火にかけて湯を沸かす道具で、電気ケトルには使いません。紅茶や他の飲み物を作る時によく使います。
