Definition

ট্যাপেস্ট্রি হল পুরু এবং রঙিন কাপড়ের বড় টুকরা, যার ওপর ছবি বা দৃশ্য তৈরি করা থাকে। এগুলো দেয়ালে সাজানোর জন্য ব্যবহৃত হয় এবং মাঝে মাঝে ঐতিহাসিক গল্প বা ঘটনাও তুলে ধরে।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

সাধারণত শৈল্পিক বা ঐতিহাসিক প্রসঙ্গে ব্যবহৃত হয়। আভিধানিক অর্থ ছাড়াও 'the tapestry of life' এর মতো রূপকাশক্তি প্রকাশে ব্যবহার হতে পারে। একবচনে 'tapestry' হবে।
