"talk past" in Japanese
Definition
複数の人がそれぞれ自分の主張だけを話して相手の言っていることをしっかり聞かないため、きちんと意思疎通ができていない状態。

ディスカッションや議論で使われることが多い表現。「talk past each other」は相手の話を無視するのではなく、主にすれ違いによる誤解に使われる。
