네 말을 믿다

Definition

증거 없이 상대방의 말만 믿는 것. 신뢰를 표현할 때 사용함.

비격식적으로 많이 쓰이며 신뢰나 약간의 의심을 표현할 때 쓴다. 영어 표현처럼 뒤에 'that', 'this' 등이 올 수 있다.

I'll take your word on that.

그건 **네 말을 믿을게**.

이 프로젝트, **네 말을 믿어도** 돼?

She decided to take his word on the directions.
