Definition

위험이나 불확실함이 있어도 어떤 일을 해보기로 결심하거나 기회가 오면 잡는 것.

불확실하거나 위험이 있는 상황에서 선택하거나 결심할 때 많이 사용함. 'just', 'might as well' 등과 함께 표현됨. 'take a chance' 형태도 자주 씀. 약간은 비공식적.

If you want the job, you should take your chance and apply.

그 일을 원하면 **기회를 잡아서** 지원해 봐.
