Definition

開始做一項活動或嗜好、佔據空間或時間，或接受一項任務或責任。

常見於口語和書面語。常與興趣（“take up painting”）、空間／時間（“take up too much space”）、或接受職責（“take up the challenge”）搭配。不是“撿起”物品，應用“pick up”。
