Usage Notes (Hindi)

यह केवल कानूनी (अदालत) में इस्तेमाल होता है, जब गवाह या (इजाजत मिले तो) आरोपी गवाही देने कटघरे में जाता है। 'take a stand' (मज़बूती से राय रखना) से न भ्रमित करें। पूरे वाक्यांश 'take the stand' का प्रयोग करें।
