"take the hint" in Spanish
Definition
Entender una sugerencia o señal indirecta, normalmente cuando alguien no dice algo directamente. Si 'entendés la indirecta', comprendes lo que realmente quiere decir sin que lo diga explícitamente.

Expresión informal, muy usada en situaciones sociales. Se dice cuando alguien da pistas indirectas esperando que otro las entienda. Usual en frases como '¿no entiendes la indirecta?' si alguien no capta la sugerencia.
