Quitar algo de un lugar alto, derribar algo o alguien, o escribir información en papel. También puede significar derrotar a alguien.

Usualmente informal; común en instrucciones ('take down notes') y deportes ('take down an opponent'). Puede significar bajar físicamente, anotar o derrotar a alguien. No confundir con 'take over' (hacerse cargo) o 'take off' (quitar, despegar).
