Definition
尾旋回は、飛行機が制御を失い、尾を軸に急降下しながら回転する状態です。日常的には、物事や感情が急速に悪化し、制御できなくなる状況も指します。

航空用語でも比喩的にもよく使います。「go into a tailspin」は急激に悪化する意味。「recover from a tailspin」で回復する意もあります。日常会話でよく用いられます。
