Definition

'Tablet' एक पोर्टेबल टचस्क्रीन कंप्यूटर या निगलने के लिए ठोस दवा (गोली) हो सकता है। आजकल बिरले ही पत्थर या लकड़ी की पटिया के लिए इस्तेमाल होता है।

आजकल 'टैबलेट' अधिकतर टचस्क्रीन डिवाइस या फिर दवा (गोली) के अर्थ में आता है। दवा के लिए 'गोली' अथवा 'टैबलेट' दोनों आम हैं। अर्थ स्पष्ट रखने के लिए संदर्भ महत्वपूर्ण है।
