Definition
Cambiar de una cosa, sistema u opción a otra. Como sustantivo, también significa un dispositivo que se usa para encender o apagar la electricidad o una máquina.

Es muy común en el inglés diario. Usa 'switch to' para cambiar a algo nuevo, 'switch from ... to ...' para mencionar la opción anterior y la nueva, y 'switch on/off' sobre todo con luces y aparatos. Como sustantivo, 'light switch' es más común que solo 'switch' cuando hace falta ser claro.
