'Summon' é formal, comum em contextos legais, profissionais ou de fantasia. Expressões comuns: 'summon someone to court', 'summon the courage', 'summon a spirit'. No dia a dia, prefere-se 'call' ou 'invite'. Não confunda 'summon' com 'summons' (substantivo: intimação).
