A parte inferior de suporte de um edifício, ponte ou estrutura, normalmente escondida. De forma mais geral, pode referir-se a qualquer fundação que suporta algo.

'Subestrutura' é um termo técnico, sobretudo de engenharia, arquitetura e construção. Refere-se à parte inferior de apoio, como as fundações. Não confundir com 'superestrutura', que é a parte superior ou visível.
