بعد حدوث شيء آخر؛ يحدث أو يأتي لاحقًا.

كلمة رسمية وتستخدم غالبًا في الكتابة أو التقارير أو الأكاديميا للربط بين الأحداث. في الكلام اليومي استعمل 'ثم' أو 'بعد ذلك'. لا تخلطها مع 'consequently' (بالتالي/كنتيجة).
