Um subbasement é um piso ou nível de um edifício situado abaixo da cave, sendo o nível subterrâneo mais profundo.

Maioritariamente usado para edifícios grandes, em contextos técnicos ou de arquitetura. Não costuma ser zona habitável. Não confundir com 'basement' ('cave'), pois 'subbasement' é sempre mais abaixo.
