Un hombre fuerte es una persona físicamente muy fuerte, especialmente en espectáculos o competencias. También puede referirse a un líder político que gobierna con mucho poder, a menudo de manera antidemocrática o dura.

"Strongman" se usa tanto en contextos literales (atletas, artistas) como figurativos (líderes autoritarios). En política, suele tener connotación negativa. Es común en medios y textos históricos. No confundir con solo "strong".
