街道

Definition

街道是城市或城鎮中的公共道路，通常兩旁有建築物。人們在這裡行走、開車，也常有住宅和商店。

'Street' 通常指城市或城鎮的道路，不包括高速公路或鄉間小道。常用搭配有 'on the street'（在街上）、'across the street'（街對面），還有像 'Main Street' 這類街道名。在美式英語中既可指住宅區也可指商業區。
