Agregar combustible a un fuego para que arda con más fuerza, o (informalmente) comer mucho para obtener energía.

'Stoke up' es informal en el sentido de comer mucho y común al hablar de fuegos o barbacoas: 'stoke up the fire.' Sobre comer, se usa antes o después de la actividad física. No confundir con 'stock up' (abastecerse).
