Definition

লম্বা, সরু খুঁটি যার উপর দাঁড়িয়ে মানুষ মাটির ওপর থেকে উপরে হাঁটে; পারফরম্যান্স বা জলের ওপর ঘর বানাতে ব্যবহার হয়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

সবসময় বহুবচনে ('stilts') ব্যবহৃত হয়। 'on stilts' বলতে উচ্চতায় হাঁটা বোঝায়। উৎসব, সার্কাস বা বাড়ি বানানোর ক্ষেত্রেই বেশি দেখা যায়; 'crutches'-এর মতো নয়।
