Definition

障害競走は、選手や馬がフェンスや水濠などの障害を越えて進むレースです。陸上競技や競馬で行われます。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に陸上競技の3000m障害物レースや、競馬の障害レースに使われます。「障害物競走」や「ステープルチェイス」とも表記されますが、主に正式な競技に使われます。
