남의 것 또는 어떤 장소의 물건을 허락 없이 몰래 가져가는 것.

항상 훔치는 대상이나 장소를 '~에서'로 이어 사용합니다. 'steal to'가 아니라 'steal from'이 맞는 표현입니다. 'rip off', 'swipe'보다 더 격식적입니다.

Don't steal from your friends.

친구에게서 **훔치지 마세요**.

He tried to steal from the store.

그는 가게에서 **훔치려고** 했다.

It is wrong to steal from others.
