Definition

詩で、いくつかの行がひとまとまりになって、他のまとまりと区切られている部分。多くの場合、そのまとまりごとに意味やリズムがある。

「連」は詩の分析でよく使われる言葉です。それぞれ特有の韻やリズムをもつことが多いです。「verse（行、詩全体、または連）」との違いに注意。「stanzas」は正しい複数形。
