Definition
Estar numa posição vertical sobre os pés, ou colocar-se nessa posição. Também pode significar tolerar ou suportar algo.

Usado em muitas expressões como 'stand up' (levantar-se) ou 'can't stand' (não suportar). Normalmente de registo neutro. Não confundir com 'sentar' ou 'deitar'.
