सीढ़ियाँ एक भवन की अलग-अलग मंजिलों को जोड़ने वाली कई सीढ़ियों का समूह होती हैं, जिनसे लोग ऊपर या नीचे जा सकते हैं।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

"Stairways" अधिक औपचारिक या तकनीकी (architecture में) शब्द है; आम बोलचाल में "stairs" अधिक आम है। हिंदी में दोनों का अनुवाद "सीढ़ियाँ" होगा, लेकिन "stairways" अक्सर इमारतों की आंतरिक संरचना के लिए इस्तेमाल होता है।
