「stags」は大型の鹿（特にアカシカなど）の成獣のオスを複数示す言葉です。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に動物や狩猟の文脈で使われます。「stags」は小型の鹿にはあまり使いません。複数形を表す時は「stags」とし、「stag deers」とは言いません。
