'spots on my shirt' মানে দাগ, 'spots on my face' মানে মুখে ব্রণ বা দাগ, আর 'good spots to eat' মানে ভালো খাওয়ার জায়গা। 'parking spots', 'tourist spots' এই রকম বাক্যেও ব্যবহার হয়।
