Bir hayvanın bıraktığı iz, örneğin ayak izi veya koku, avcıların veya iz sürücülerin takip edebileceği bir işarettir.

'Hayvan izi' terimi özellikle hayvanların doğada bıraktığı izler için kullanılır, insanlar için kullanılmaz. Günlük konuşmada yaygın bir kelime değildir.
