Definition

「spied」は、人に気づかれないようにこっそり誰かを見張ったり観察したりすることを指します。普通は情報を得るために使われます。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に「こっそり」「秘密裏に」観察する場合に使います。「spied on」のように「〜を監視する」とセットで使われることが多いです。ただ気づく意味ではなく、隠れて見るニュアンスです。
