এগুলি হচ্ছে ঘাস ও তার মূল সহ মাটি, যা সাধারণত লন বা মাঠে ঢাকার জন্য ব্যবহৃত হয়।

'Sods' বাগান, পার্ক বা মাঠে নতুন ঘাস বসানোর সময় বেশি ব্যবহৃত হয়। ইংরেজি 'sod' শব্দের স্ল্যাং অর্থ এখানে প্রযোজ্য নয়।
