Definition

눈이 많이 내려서 문이나 길이 막혀 어딘가에 갇히는 것.

비공식적이고 기후상 눈이 오는 지역에서 사용. 주로 'be snowed in'과 같이 수동태로 쓴다. 눈 때문에 집이나 차량 등에서 못 나오는 상황.

We were snowed in for two days last winter.

지난 겨울 우리는 이틀 동안 **눈에 갇혔어요**.
