Mover-se rápida e suavemente através de algo, normalmente cortando, como uma faca no pão ou um barco na água.

Usado tanto em sentido literal (facas, ferramentas) como figurado (movimentos, sons). Expressões como 'slice through the air' são comuns. Não usado para cortes lentos.
