ある時間や出来事の間ずっと目を覚まさずに寝ていること。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

'sleep through the alarm' は「目覚ましでも起きない」という意味。「夜通し寝る」や「騒音でも寝ている」など、外部の音や出来事に反応せず寝ている時に使う。「oversleep」とは異なり、遅刻する意味ではない。
