কোনো সময়কাল বা ঘটনার সময় জেগে ওঠার কথা থাকলেও টানা ঘুমিয়ে থাকা।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

'sleep through the alarm' মানে ঘড়ির অ্যালার্মেও না জেগে থাকা। শব্দ-শোরগোলও তুলতে পারে, তবুও কেউ জাগে না। 'oversleep' মানে দেরিতে ওঠা, কিন্তু 'sleep through' হলো কিছু ঘটনার সময় টানা ঘুমানো।
