무자비하거나 잔인하게 죽임을 당하는 것. 주로 고기를 얻기 위한 동물이나 대규모 학살 상황에 사용됨.

'도살'은 주로 동물, '학살'은 사람에게 사용합니다. 스포츠 등에서 큰 차이로 패배했을 때도 비유적으로 사용합니다. 평범한 개인의 죽음에는 쓰지 않습니다.
