Definition

スラットとは、ブラインドやベッド、フェンスなどの構造部分として使われる、木や金属などでできた細長くて平たい板のことです。

'スラット'や'板'はベッドフレームやブラインド、フェンスなどの細長い部材に使われます。単なる木の板にはあまり使いません。「ベッドスラット」「ブラインドスラット」など具体的な用途で使います。
