أن تصطدم بشيء بقوة شديدة وبصوت عالٍ، وغالباً فجأة أو بالصدفة.

تستخدم عادة في سياق غير رسمي، خاصة عند الحديث عن الحوادث أو التصادمات القوية (سيارات، أشخاص، أشياء). تعطي معنى القوة والمفاجأة أكثر من استخدام كلمة 'hit'.
