Definition

উচ্চ অবস্থান থেকে ধীরে ধীরে নিচে নেমে আসা, প্রায়ই ওজন, ক্লান্তি, দুঃখ বা ভেঙে পড়ার কারণে। এটি বস্তু বা মানুষের শারীরিকভাবে নীচে নেমে যাওয়া বা আবেগগতভাবে 'ধসে পড়া' বোঝাতে পারে।

'sink down' সাধারণত ধীরে বা কোমলভাবে নিচে নামা বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়, বিশেষ করে কেউ ক্লান্তিতে বা দুঃখে চেয়ারে বসে পড়লে। 'Chair', 'bed', 'knees' এবং আবেগের সঙ্গে বেশি চলে। একটু সাহিত্যিক বা বর্ণনামূলক মনে হয়, হঠাৎ পড়ে যাওয়ার জন্য নয়।
