그슬리다살짝 태우다

Definition

무언가의 표면이 살짝 타서 그을리거나 검게 변하는 것. 완전히 타지는 않음.

'그슬리다'는 머리카락, 음식, 천 등 표면만 살짝 탈 때 사용합니다. 'burn'(완전히 태우다)와 달리 전체가 타지 않는 점이 다릅니다.

Be careful not to singe your fingers on the candle.

양초에 손가락이 **그슬리지** 않게 조심하세요.

The hot iron singed the edge of my shirt.

뜨거운 다리미에 셔츠 가장자리가 **살짝 탔다**.
