窓やドアの一番下にある横長の部分で、物を置いたり支えたりするところです。特に窓に使われます。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に窓枠の下部分（window sill）を指します。ドアにはあまり使いません。「seal」や「still」と混同しないようにしましょう。小物を置く場合によく使われます。
