Definition

来客を部屋や建物の中に案内すること。特に到着した時に使う。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

ビジネスやホテルなどのフォーマルな場面で使うことが多い。人に対して使い、物には使わない。「show someone in」は「人を中へ案内する」の意味。
